The Telegraaf Tijdschriften Groep (TTG) will be contracting out the support and marketing of its magazines’ distribution activities. After an extensive orientation, the TTG has decided to negotiate exclusively with Aldipress* with regard to this cooperation. Both parties expect to reach a definite agreement within a few weeks. Until now, distribution was centrally provided for by the Telegraaf-group.
At the same time, DistriQ** is negotiating with Aldipress about a strategic cooperation, which will be realized over various phases in the years to come. It concerns the physical distribution of the magazine assortment of Aldipress from the distribution centre to the sales points. The assortment consists of about 650 different magazines from over a hundred publishers. Aldipress and DistriQ expect to be able to sign a letter of intent about this cooperation within a few weeks.
* Aldipress is part of the Finnish media-group Sanoma WSOY.
