NMa company visit at De Telegraaf
Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. (TMG) confirms that the Nederlandse Mededingingsautoriteit (NMa - Netherlands Competition Authority) has started this morning an investigation at the Uitgeversmaatschappij De Telegraaf B.V. company, whose publications include ‘De Telegraaf' newspaper.
The NMa has stated that the investigation is aimed at ascertaining whether price-fixing or discounting agreements have been made in the Dutch print media advertising market by the Raad van Orde en Toezicht voor het Advertentiewezen (Supervisory Board for the Advertising market) and/or the Nederlands Uitgeversverbond (Dutch Publishers Association) and/or its members.
TMG is unaware of having violated the Competition Act and will fully cooperate with the investigation. TMG confidently awaits the results of the investigation.
