Proposed appointment of Leo Epskamp as TMG's CFO

The Supervisory Board of Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG) intends to appoint Mr Leo Epskamp (52) as a member of the Executive Board and CFO of Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. effective 1 September 2014. Mr Fred Arp will step down as a director of TMG effective 1 November and will remain affiliated with TMG as an advisor until 1 March 2015 in order to complete a number of outstanding matters.

Epskamp has a great deal of experience in the media world. He occupied various financial positions at Reed Elsevier and as partner and auditor at KPMG managed a number of national and international teams in the media sector. In his last position he was CFO of NDC mediagroep. Epskamp studied economics at the University of Amsterdam and is a registered accountant.

Michiel Boersma, Chairman of TMG's Supervisory Board, made the following comments on this appointment: ‘With the arrival of Leo Epskamp, we will once again reinforce the Executive Board with a great deal of media experience. The new team will energetically address the challenges of the strongly changing media world. Following many years of service, Fred Arp will focus on completing a number of outstanding matters. We are very appreciative of Fred Arp's excellent track record during the 17 years he was affiliated with TMG.’

Effective 1 September 2014, TMG's Executive Board will be composed of CEO Geert-Jan van der Snoek, appointed 1 July 2014, CFO Leo Epskamp and until 1 November 2014 Fred Arp as member.
