TMG implements new organizational/ management structure

TMG will implement a new organisational/management structure shortly. This is a major step in TMG’s new strategy to transform into a leading cross media company. Under the new organisational structure the Executive Board con-sisting of the CEO and CFO as well as five managing directors of business units form the Executive Committee, which will contribute to realising growth and clear accountability. Recently the Central Works Council (“Centrale Ondernemingsraad”) of TMG concurred with the proposed new organisational structure.

Important elements of TMG’s new strategy are focus, bundling of strengths and investing in growth with the aim of being a leading cross media company by 2016. The change in the organisational and management structure will facilitate realizing this strategic goal.
The Executive Committee will consist of CEO Herman van Campenhout and CFO Fred Arp, complemented with Rob Eijkelenkamp, Marc de Vries, Philip Alberdingk Thijm, Frank Volmer and Sjors Kroon as managing directors of the business units Print, Online, Radio, News and Sales, respectively. The appointments will be effective 1 October 2012.

Herman van Campenhout, CEO of TMG: “This is an important step forward in the transformation of our company into a leading cross media company. With managing directors in the Executive Committee that are directly responsible for the operating business units that drive the growth of our business, entrepreneurship and accountability will be there. TMG will change from a holding company into an operating company. I am convinced that this change will improve the execution power of our company”.
