TMG regional dailies are here to stay

At the end of 2011, TMG presented the plans leading to an accentuation of the company strategy. In short, this strategy comprehends online growth, strengthening of print position, cooperation and cost reduction.

The strategy process is currently in the concretization phase. Unfortunately, recent publications on fragments of this process might have caused lack of clarity. In order to prevent possible concern among readers, political parties and employees, both HDC Media and TMG emphasize that there is no plan regarding the termination of HDC Media print titles. The same goes for the plan to regionalize De Telegraaf in the HDC Media area of distribution. Part of the process, however, is exploring possibilities for more intense, internal cooperation.

Publications anticipating on the ultimate choices in the strategic process are therefore inaccurate.
